Day 1: Taipei Main Station → Yilan Railway Station → Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area → Taipingshan Villa
07:30 Depart from East Gate 3 of Taipei Main Station

【Optional pick-up from major hotels in downtown Taipei (Zhongshan / Zhongzheng / Datong / Xinyi / Wanhua)】 → Please inform us when registering.
【08:30 Gather at Yilan Railway Station, Jiaoxi, or hotels in Yilan City to depart 】→ Please inform us when registering.

10:30 – Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area & Zhongjian (Midpoint) Explanation Station & Bailing Giant Tree(go through)
11:00~15:00 Taipingshan Villa & Lunch at the Restaurant
15:00 – Check-in and free time to rest.
(Taipingshan Villa is built on terraced levels. Backpack-style luggage is recommended.)

08:00–12:00 Explore the forest trails of the Taipingshan forest area
★Please complete check-out procedures before 11:00. Luggage can be stored at the front desk; please keep valuables with you at all times.
12:00–13:00 Lunch at Taipingshan Lodge Restaurant
13:30–14:20 Jianqing Historic Trail
14:50~15:50 Jiuzhize
【The Jiuzhize Outdoor Nude Hot Spring Area at Taipingshan will be closed for renovation for five months starting April 1, 2024, and will not be available during this period.】
16:00 Depart Taipingshan, bidding farewell to the tranquil mountain moments.
17:00–17:30 Estimated arrival at Yilan Railway Station (Travelers continuing on to Hualien by train are advised to purchase tickets for departures after 6:30 PM.)

<Definition of Departure Date>
★Peak Days：Fridays, Sundays, and the day before holidays(2/26, 4/2, 4/30, 6/18, 9/24, 10/8, 12/24, 12/31),
as well as the last day of consecutive holidays(3/1, 4/6, 5/3, 6/21, 9/28, 10/11, 12/27).
★Holidays：Every Saturday; during winter vacation (1/24–2/22) and summer vacation (July–August), all days from Sunday to Friday are charged at the holiday rate.
★Consecutive Holidays：2/27, 4/3–4, 5/1, 6/19, 9/25–26, 10/9, 12/25.(Defined as departures on Day 1 of three-day holidays, and Day 1 & Day 2 of four-day holidays.)
In addition, all Saturdays during winter vacation (1/24–2/22) and summer vacation (July–August) are also charged at the consecutive holiday rate.

<Registration Notes & Accommodation Reminders>
Seats on the bus cannot be reserved in advance.
The tour guide provides service and commentary on the bus; upon arrival at attractions, visits are self-guided.
1–2 days before departure, the meeting time, location, and tour guide contact information will be provided.
Guests requiring vegetarian or special meals should notify us when registering.
Missing the bus or getting off midway for personal reasons will be considered voluntary forfeiture; no refunds or partial transfers can be made.
In case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the company reserves the right to cancel or modify the itinerary.
Guests staying at Taipingshan Villa have priority booking for the first Bong-Bong Train departure on the second morning.。
Camping, open fires, smoking, and bringing pets are strictly prohibited throughout Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area.
Taipingshan Villa does not provide disposable amenities, including bath towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, combs, or shower caps.

Room assignments are arranged by the front desk on-site.
Taipingshan Villa is a terraced, stair-based complex; please assess your ability before registering.

<Cancellation Policy>
- Once this product is booked and payment is completed, it is considered that both parties have agreed to the 【Standard Domestic Travel Contract】 issued by the Tourism Bureau. Dates and itineraries cannot be changed at will. Cancellation or rescheduling will incur fees according to the contract.
Article 13: Fees for Travelers Who Voluntarily Cancel Before Departure: - Cancellation 31–40 days before departure: 10% of the tour fee as compensation.
- Cancellation 21–30 days before departure: 20% of the tour fee as compensation.
- Cancellation 2–20 days before departure: 30% of the tour fee as compensation.
- Cancellation 1 day before departure: 50% of the tour fee as compensation.
- Cancellation on the day of departure or no-show without notice: 100% of the tour fee as compensation.
- The above percentages are calculated based on the tour fee after deducting administrative fees.
- (The date of notice is based on regular working hours announced by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration. If the notice is sent after working hours, the next business day will be considered the official notification date.)

Can I request a specific room type?
Yes, we will make every effort to secure your preferred room type. However, please note that accommodation at Taipingshan Villa is in extremely high demand and often fully booked. While we will prioritize your request, final room assignments are subject to availability at the time of booking. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
Can international travelers join?
Yes! Although this isn’t a standard ‘Taiwan Tour Bus’ route, it is still based on the core Taiwan Tour Bus itinerary. Therefore, in addition to the Mandarin guide, we also provide audio guide services in English, Japanese, and Korean.
Taipingshan is high in the mountains. Is the drive very long?
Perception of travel time varies by individual. Typically, the drive from the Ticket Station to Taipingshan Villa takes about 1 hour. The mountain road section is short, and the route is mostly two-lane asphalt, making for a smooth journey.”
Can I sign up alone?
Yes, solo travelers are welcome to join as long as the tour has reached the minimum number of participants (confirmed departure with other guests). Accommodation Note: Please be aware that roommate matching is not guaranteed. Solo travelers will likely need to book a single room. Please refer to the pricing table above for details.
What type of vehicle will be arranged?
For this route, the vehicle is arranged based on the total number of participants on the day. Possibilities include a large tour bus, a minibus, or a 7-9 seater van.
