FAQ

Will I be able to ride the Taipingshan Bong Bong Train?

A: We generally allocate time in the itinerary for the train ride. However, please note that tickets cannot be reserved in advance and must be purchased on-site. Availability depends on the situation that day.

Tip: We recommend checking the official Taipingshan website for real-time ticket status as we approach the mountain.

Can I join the tour from Yilan?

Yes! Pick-up is available at Jiaoxi Train Station and Yilan Train Station, but we cannot offer service at Luodong or Su’ao as they are not along the route.
Note: You can choose to board in Yilan and drop off in Taipei (or vice versa), but the tour fee remains the same as the full Taipei departure rate.

Are foreign language services available?

Yes! This route is very popular with international visitors. In addition to the Mandarin guide, we provide Audio Guides in English, Japanese, and Korean.

Can I sign up alone?

Absolutely! Solo travelers are welcome. The tour is guaranteed to depart as long as there are more than 2 passengers in total for the day and vehicle arrangements are confirmed.

How is the weather in the mountains?

Generally, the temperature in the mountains is about 8-10°C lower than in downtown Taipei. We recommend checking the Central Weather Administration (CWA) website for the specific forecast at Taipingshan.
